All our courses are offered in Danish, German, Swedish, and Norwegian with a speaker function. Support is provided in 8 different native languages, including Arabic, Ukrainian, English, Tigrinya, Somali, Turkish, Pashto, and Urdu. For these languages, the supporting speaker function is also available to ensure that the learner fully understands the material.

Food Hygiene

The course is developed in accordance with current rules and regulations on food hygiene. The course introduces the participant to:

• Self-control (Egenkontrol)
• Personal hygiene
• Cleaning and disinfection
• How to avoid spreading bacteria
• Cooling of food
• Refrigeration storage of food
• Temperature during heat treatment of food
• Hot holding of food

Course description

The participant acquires fundamental skills in proper food handling, hygiene, and food safety. They learn, among other things, how to store and heat food in a way that counteracts the growth conditions for microorganisms.

The course is relevant for those of our participants who wish to work in a kitchen or in the restaurant industry in general.

A basic knowledge of food safety, along with proper food handling and good personal hygiene, is essential to prevent illness for both those preparing the food and those consuming it.
