For Companies

To ensure and evaluate the progression of the citizen, there will be a systematic and hand-guided follow-up actions. Both during the participation of the course, but also after the citizen has started employment.

Why take social responsibility?

We support other companies who wants to join in taking social responsibility but lack the experience in doing so. After the employment of the citizen, we will be available to help solve eventual problems, conflicts, misunderstandings, and challenges, which are in the way of the citizen’s maintenance of work-related tasks. We will act as a middleman, and work with finding both solutions and possible developments for the citizen. Our actions are based on our knowledge of and experiences with immigrants integration on the Danish labor market.

The citizen will be taught both practically and theoretically in the demands and expectations which the companies expect to be met. The action of employment will help with both professional and personal development, in relation to being a part of the labour market. Placing the citizen within a specific industry happens as a part of an alignment of expectations, which will be planned during the initial discussion regarding qualifications.

The advantage of having multiple follow-up discussions, is that potential problems and challenges that the citizen may experience regarding employment, are solved. Our initial standpoint is that we want to make the company aware of the advantages and resources they gain by hiring a new employee.

While it may require extra dedication in the beginning to employ a person with a non-western background, it is our experience at KHRS and our cooperators, that these often end up being stable and long-lasting employments.

Fast and efficient upskilling of immigrant citizens

Our upskilling of new employees through our e-learning platform E-asylearn, is typically short courses of 2-12 weeks, depending on the qualifications, experience, and resources of the citizen. This means that the companies will quickly get the benefits of new employees or upskilling of already-employed employees.

Often our courses are a combination of theoretical upskilling and practical learning at the company in question. Therefore, the companies will at the point of employment, already know their coming employee from their internship.

The advantages of using E-asylearn for upskilling

We currently have 24 different industry-oriented courses in E-asylearn, where most are targeted at industries with a lack of workforce.

By using E-asylearn, the user experiences a swift upskilling in one or multiple industries, depending on their personal choices, qualifications, and competences.

E-asylearn is intended as a tool to ease the learning experience for the user – either in relation to learning new things or refreshing competences within an industry. Simultaneously, E-asylearn gives the user the opportunity to learn the Danish language, while being supported by the translation feature, which translates Danish to the user’s mother tongue.

Finally, E-asylearn is available for people challenged by dyslexia and illiterates, as the platform utilizes visual material in the shape of pictures and videos, which makes learning accessible, easy, and fun.
